EU agrees to back country’s economic revival

The European Union has agreed to extend assistance to Uganda, amounting to 96 million euros, over several years, in a bid to lift the economy developments and uplifting the economy as far as foreign assistance is concerned. Earlier today, we had an interview with the head of the EU delegation to Uganda, Attilio Pacifici, where he emphasized the EU’s role in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, even though Europe has hit hard.
